Night 78

Hi and welcome back!

Sunrise on the First Day of Spring

Last night it was in the mid twenties. When I went out to the tent it was very windy--when Maisy came out to wake us up a little before 6:00, the stake that tightens the vestibule had been pulled out of the ground by the wind.

When my dad and I hiked this morning it was about thirty degrees out.  Our time up was about 13:15 which was pretty good, because I had a really bad cough.

Since today is the first day of spring,
I hope from now on the nights will be
warmer, making it easier to sleep out.
